Alci Espinosa

Alci Espinosa, Esq., is a managing partner of the Espinosa, Kearney Law & Associates, PLLC. Alci’s experience involves a wide array of family and matrimonial law matters including uncontested and contested divorces, child custody, child support, spousal support, relocation, visitation rights, family offense petitions, separation agreements, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and separation of assets.
Alci earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University, where he was a distinguished member of the Renée Crown University Honors Program, Psychology Association, and a dual major in psychology and political philosophy. He went on to receive his law degree from the Charlotte School of Law, where he participated in various advocacy clinics for domestic violence and criminal law and graduated with Pro Bono Honors for his service to the community.
Alci began his professional career at Wilson Soto & Associates, PC., in Scarsdale, New York. Alci quickly advance within the firm and was made responsible for all matrimonial and family Court matters. Alci has practice in many Courts throughout New York, which includes Albany, Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. Alci has brought resolution to hundreds of clients via settlement or by rigorous trial litigation, including matters for many minorities.
One of Alci’s most dynamic trials includes a mother who sought the relocation of her daughter to Ohio. After a three-day trial which extended from December of 2017 to March of 2018, Alci was victorious, and the child was able to relocate to Ohio. Alci’s 2017 trial decision created new case law in matters of custody and relocation.
Furthermore, Alci is a first generation made New Yorker whose parents are from the Dominican Republic and was raised in the heart of Washington Heights and Inwood, New York. Growing up in poverty and living among various cultures throughout his young life; He developed a strong and ferocious desire to advocate for people no matter where they came from.
Alci is happily married and enjoys his personal life by reading, cooking elegant meals, playing football with friends, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family.
Alci is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
